Greg Rodriguez, artist and instructor, has been painting for over 30 years. He currently lives and works in Wet Brush Studio, where art collectors will find tradition oil and pastel paintings. Greg Rodriguez’s style is a direct technique similar to that of the American Impressionists with strong influences of the 19th century naturalists style. He has received numerous rewards, most notably by the National Oil Painters of America, has been juried into shows by the Oil and Acrylic Painters of America, and other juried shows throughout the country. His work has also been collected by several national corporations and also by private collectors throughout the country. Greg Rodriguez has studied at the Atelier Phrol, where they teach classic painting and also at the American Academy in Chicago.

Born in Texas but raised in Wisconsin, Greg Rodriguez spent most of his childhood running through the farm fields of Wisconsin while his parents were working as migrants. Because of this, he grew to appreciate the beauty of the landscape, as well as the domestic and wild animal life in the area. Upon entering Wet Brush Studio, the patron will find many different works, such as landscapes, portraits, still-life, and animal paintings with a 19th century appeal, both lyrical and poetic.
